Granitol has achieved significant international success. On May 8, 2026, we received the WorldStar Packaging Award 2026 in Düsseldorf, Germany, for our innovative mono-material PE/PE bag LAMIBAG® for the pet food segment.
We produce the award-winning packaging for our long-standing customer Dibaq, a major pet food manufacturer. The project is the result of a close collaboration focused on modern, functional and sustainable packaging solutions.
The competition is organised by the World Packaging Organisation (WPO) and is one of the most respected packaging awards in the world. Each year it recognises the most significant innovations in packaging solutions from around the world. This year, companies from 36 countries were successful and the winning projects were judged by an international jury of more than 50 packaging industry experts.
LAMIBAG® packaging is a modern and sustainable solution for pet food packaging. Thanks to its mono-material PE/PE composition, the packaging is fully recyclable while meeting high demands for quality, strength and product protection.
This award is confirmation that our long-term focus on innovation, quality and sustainability makes sense. A big thank you to our customer Dibaq for their trust and cooperation, as well as to all the colleagues involved in the development, production and implementation of the project.
