Granitol has achieved significant international success in the field of packaging solutions. Our LAMIBAG® (PE/PE) mono-material bag for animal feed has been awarded the prestigious WorldStar Award for Packaging Excellence.
The award-winning packaging was developed in collaboration with our customer, Dibaq, for the pet food segment. The award thus confirms not only the technical and innovative level of the solution, but also the successful collaboration between the packaging manufacturer and the brand, which emphasizes quality and sustainability.
The award is presented by the World Packaging Organisation (WPO) as part of the global WorldStar Awards, one of the most respected competitions in the packaging industry. Winners are decided by an international jury of dozens of experts from around the world who evaluate the innovation, technical performance, functionality and sustainability of packaging solutions.

The award-winning LAMIBAG® packaging is designed as a PE/PE mono-material solution, making it 100% recyclable and a response to the growing market demands and future legislation in the field of packaging and the circular economy.
The WorldStar Award confirms that Granitol’s long-term direction – that is, the development of technically advanced yet sustainable packaging solutions in collaboration with customers – is also relevant internationally.
The award ceremony
The award ceremony will take place at the beginning of May, when Granitol representatives will receive the award in person at an international event organised by the WPO.
